Two 224 foot spans of Tung Kun bridge and a third

span of 60 foot are in the water also one 224 foot span

of East river bridge at Sheklung. It is suspected that Shektan bridge was blown up last night. (R ends).

2.

Chinese section rolling stock has been almost

all sent North by Canton-Hankow railway. Some British

section rolling stock has been used for carriage of

troops. I have protested verbally to pacifie

commissioner.
